Volume Four is a typeface inspired by the custom lettering from the iconic Black Sabbath Vol. 4 album cover. I'd always looked at the typography and wondered what font it was—when I realized that it was custom, I felt the need to create the rest of the character set and release this unto the world. Since its debut, none other than Black Sabbath themselves have used it on record covers, merch and stage backdrops. I can't ask for any better endorsement than that.
