All Work

Ryan Corey has a Job Title

If we were to list in this short text, all the job functions Corey regularly performs, (writing bios isn’t among them) it would seem like bragging, so loosely we’ve settled upon “graphic designer” (notice the quotation marks.) He specializes in people pleasing, which makes him good at his job and even better at being co-dependent. Little is known of him except his name—his history is disputed and he disappears from the record early in his long conflict with working life.

Things you probably wanted to see in a professional bio, but were omitted:

Ryan grew up outside of San Diego, where he once imagined a future drawing superhero comics. Instead, he worked in a postcard factory just long enough to fund his first year at the California Institute of the Arts. While still a student, he interned at Smog Design in Los Angeles, later joining the studio full-time after earning his BFA in 2005. There, he contributed to a wide range of music packaging, books, identity systems and typographical explorations.

Corey was allowed by way of treaty to appear in such journals as Step, I.D. and Communication Arts, as well as a number of books on typography and graphic design and has been recognized by Adobe Systems and the Art Director's Club. He was defeated in battle only once against insurmountable odds in 2019. Since that time has been known to wait in his house for someone to offer him money in exchange for services.

He’s pretty good, but as previously stated, we’re not allowed to brag. You should trust us.
